SkenTo demo project is an aggregator for product information search using mobile phone's barcode scanning capabilities.

How does it work?

• Download and install our application to your mobile device.
• Run the application and make a photo of a barcode with it.
• The application automatically connects to our webpage and displays the search result.

Where is the information from and what information do I get?

• Gepir - detailed barcode owner information
• COOP Jednota - nutrition facts
• ADCC - pharma product information i.e. price, leaflet
• Martinus.sk - book information i.e. price, ratings, sales ranking
• Pricemania.sk - price information from Slovak e-shops
• NasePotraviny.info - detailed food products information

Privacy policy
This application may require access to personal or sensitive user data such as device data, camera and microphone data, GPS, and other sensors data for its operation. All data obtained from the user are considered personal and are protected by the current data protection law and its supplements and additions. These personal data are used only for application purposes and will not be given to third parties. If the app uses personal information, it never publishes any personal or sensitive data. Our company has, in accordance with the law, also adopted technical, organizational and personnel measures to ensure the security of these data against misuse. Some application usage data may be automatically collected for statistical purposes for conducting generic quantitative statistics, in particular for the purpose of further enhancing the service provided.
